We had a lot of fun on our trip to Anaconda. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the kids were great travelers! It was a lot of fun to see were Grandma and Grandpa Summers grew up and find out more about our heritage. We stayed at the Big Sky RV Park and had a lot of fun just in the trailer... as you can see from the pictures.
We did a lot of fun things while we were there. We went to the fish hatchery, rode a giant slide, played at a ton of playgrounds, visited the smelter viewing memorial, and enjoyed meeting a couple of new family members. We also got a tour of the Washoe Theatre, (on the smithsonian top 1o list) and saw the Bourne Ultimatum. (Great movie, by-the-way) We loved seeing all of the old style homes and buildings. It was a little like going back in time!
Our final report. Beautiful place.... can't wait to go back!
P.S. Gigi took most of the pictures... so we only had a couple of pics to choose from... sorry you on't really get a feel for what Anaconda is really like!
