We had a lot of fun on our annual deer hunt! The kids had a blast. Sadie was great at spotting the "pink bums" up on the hill. That's right, you read correctly. Apparently she caught on rather quickly to the way we were pointing out the white bums up on the hill... although she preferred to call them pink. She spotted a lot of "one points" with her "noca nocalurs" (Binoculars) Easton was a happy baby as usual except.... he didn't love to wear his hat. So we had to put on the mittens so he couldn't take it off!
Everyone got really nice deer... unfortunately by the time we got Andy's deer it was already dark, so we didn't get a picture. He got a nice 4 x 4. We are excited to get the meat back... hopefully we are going to get most of it made into jerky... yum!
One of the fun parts about camping at East Canyon is there are so many things for the kids to do... including a playground. We thought Sadie might be leary of the swings after her broken arm incident... but as you can see... she was quick to get "back-in-the-saddle" again!
