Better Late than Never...

We all had a wonderful Christmas this year! Sadie had a blast helping to put the Christmas tree up and Easton had lots of fun chewing on the Garland. I don't think the Christmas lights were ever off for more than 6 hours. Every morning Sadie ran straight to the Christmas tree to turn the lights on!
One of our families Christmas traditions is that Auntie M does the 12 days of Christmas for the kids. This year was especially good because it helped us reinforce the true meaning of Christmas. Sadie and Easton got an adorable little nativity and had a ton of fun playing with it. We played out the nativity story and Sadie would make a circle all around baby Jesus so that everyone could see. It even helped me remember the reason for the season! She also gave us this cute little book, "The Elf on the Shelf" It came with a little elf that Sadie named "Elfy." Every night Elfy flies to the North Pole to report to Santa and then in the morning the children have to find were Elfy is hiding that day! Kids aren't allowed to touch the Elves or they lose their magic. Sadie had so much fun with him, it was a really fun tradition to start with the family!

Here is Sadie doing a little Sunday morning browsing for Christmas presents. Luckily, she was still young enough to take Mom and Dad's persuasions so Christmas shopping was pretty easy!
