Today my Grandpa Gale moved on to what
some would call "Greener pastures." Although,
it is always hard to say goodbye to someone
you love, there is great solace in the knowledge
we will be together again! I will forever
treasure the many memories I have of
my Grandpa Gale.
My Grandpa was a hard working, spunky,
quick witted man. Who loved his family,
the outdoors, and a good joke. He had a
special way of looking into your eyes and
letting you know how much you meant to him.
Grandpa- Thank you for the life you lived
for the memories you shared with me, and for the
sacrifices you made for our family. Although you
may have moved on to the next stage of your eternal
life your memory will forever live in my heart, until we
meet again! I love you bigger than the sky!

This Pencil sketch was done by an incredible
women in my ward who donated her services
for a service auction our relief society did. I
took her a picture of Grandpa and this beautiful
picture is what I got in return. Thank you so
much Janice, you will never know how much
it meant for me to be able to show this picture
to Grandpa just two days before he died.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your grandpa, he sounded like a great man. I really liked the pencil sketch that Janice did, it turned out fabulous! I'm glad you were able to get that done, definately beats the scrapbook kit! What a great treasure.
Thank you for posting this picture. I am going to miss him so much too, it just doesn't seem real to me. I just he could have been here a little while longer so my kids could remember him better. He did have a way to look into your eyes, and you could feel his love for us, and how proud he was of us.

I know I am a little late... but its never to late right... Well Matt and I Met your grandpa a couple days before he had passed and we were both able to share great thoughts of him when we heard he had passed. Glad that we know where he went and that you can be with him again one day! Love you!
