This weekend we headed up to the Cabin for our Annual Pumpkin carving party. This has always been a tradition I look forward to! We headed up to the Cabin on Friday night, the girls made a stop at Tai Pan to do some shopping, while the boys went to the snowmobile show and then we headed to the cabin. When we got there we ate pizza and then got all ready for our cookie masterpieces to begin. We always decorate sugar cookies for Halloween and it never ceases to amaze me how much artistic talent the Moosman family has.... well, some of us! As you will see below... I'm obviously not of the Moosman blood... I would love to post some pictures of all of the beautiful cookies, but we had strict instructions that we were only allowed to post pictures of our own cookies... wink, wink! On Saturday morning we got up and had Waffles, and then set out on our next creative project. Lucky for me, Sadie picked out the Hello Kitty pattern... which proved to be relatively easy! And, as for Easton's pumpkin... it is still just a pumpkin, one pumpkin carving was all Mommy could manage for one day... maybe Daddy will have a pumpkin to carve when he gets home! It is so great to be together, talking and laughing! We love you guys!
Sadie hard at work eating candy.. ohh, I mean decorating her cookies!
Sadie had so much fun playing with Jake! Here they are playing horse... can you guess which one Sadie was?
Reading the "Country" magazines on the air mattress! You would be surprised how much entertainment an air mattress can provide!

Mommy and Eastie!
One of my cookie masterpieces!
Sadie's cookie masterpiece!
Any guesses? We all got a pretty good laugh over my attempt at this cookie. It looked even worse before I added some finishing touches! One person thought it was a human heart, another person said, "Oh, it has an eye and some stuff on it's head" (mind you this was before it had an eye!" Any guesses as to what it is????
Sadie takin' pictures. I had strict instructions to pose this way, by-the-way
Sadie and Hello Kitty...Take two!
Hello Kitty? Mom, seriously!
Uncle Matt & Aunt HeathER(as Sadie says) hard at work
Andy has such great memories of working with Grandpa Moosman. He accredits him for teaching him "how to work" I was so happy to see Easton so interested in helping Grandpa. It looks like he is getting an early start with Easton!

Helping Grandpa and loving every minute of it!

Helping Grandpa and loving every minute of it!

Easton had tons of fun with Grandma Moosman, she put on a lot of miles walking all around the cabin with Eastie

I think Grandma even got some loves!
