A Weekend at East Canyon

We headed up to East Canyon for a long weekend away. We loved having Daddy home and are VERY glad he won't have to go back out of town! It poured rain all day on Saturday and Sunday... On Saturday we got up early to go look for Elk, then came back and hung out in the trailer with the family.

.

On Sunday we headed home to watch Conference at home, so the kids could have a little more space to play. Then after Conference we went up to the Moosman's house to Celebrate GiGi's Birthday! Happy Birthday Gigi!! We love you! It is always fun to have the family all together and Sadie and Easton love playing with their cousins.... and Aunt Heather seems to fall pretty high on the list, too! After the party we went back to East Canyon.

On Monday the weather cleared up a little and we were able to take the kids to play at the playground. We took a little walk to the general store, and went for a couple of Rhino rides (one of our favorite things to do!)

Riding the rhino... who looks like a marshmellow?

One night while we were out looking for Elk the kids got a little restless so my Mom and I took the kids for a walk. Sadie spotted a deer a little way off the hill and wanted to sneek up on it. So, we all headed out through the sage brush totally expecting the deer to take off running. Suprizingly, the kids were very quiet and got quite close to the deer. Sadie was so funny. She would walk a little ways and then put her binoculars up to look at it. Then she would give Easton the "quiet" sign. Easton was pleased as punch to be following his sister and of course tried to do everything she was doing.

Easton has learned to "wink." Easton's wink looks a little like a blink.... what do you think? I'm such a poet! Hahahahah!
