Silly Sadie....

Sadie: "Mommy, will you play with me?"
Mommy: "Sure, Sadie. What do you want to play?"
Sadie: "Restroom."
Mommy: "How do you play restroom?"
Sadie: "You come and eat and I'll be the waitress lady."
Apparently we have some confusion between restaurant and restroom.

Sadie and I were playing Barbies yesterday when Sadie said..
"This barbie is the mommy and these are her babies. Their names are Baby Beluga."
I don't know how many of you are familiar with the song... but, Baby Beluga is a whale. I'm not sure how I would feel if my mother named me after a whale...

Sadie was pretending to talk on the phone the other night. This is what we heard.
"Oh, Hi Jack."
Andy and I were trying to figure out who she knows named Jack. Then we hear...
"Yes, Jack. Oh, okay Jack Olantern."
She thought Jack Olantern was a name.....

For show and tell on Thursday Sadie took a picture of the Elk my Dad got a couple of years ago. On the way to school I asked her to practice telling me what she was going to say when she got to school.
Sadie: "Boys and girl's I'd like to share my Bull."
Mommy: "Sadie you have to say Elk, it is E day."
Sadie: "But, Mommy it's a Bull."
Mommy: "Yes, Sadie I know it's a Bull, but today lets just call it an Elk!"

Then she got to school and per Ms Janet this is how it went.
Sadie: "Boys and Girls I'd like to share my Elk, my Uncle.... Pa got it."
Miss Janet: "Your Uncle pa or just your pa?"
Sadie: "My pa. He boomed it and then it walked up to live with Heavenly Father. Now it goes like this....." She precedes to show how the elk sticks it tongue out to the side and pretends to be dead.

For Show and Tell this week Sadie took Easton's prosthesis.. F is for Foot.
Sadie: "Boys and Girls I'd like to share, my Brother, Easton's Foot."
Kids: "Where's his other foot?"
Sadie: "They cut it off." (duh!)
Poor Ms. Janet!
