Easton is getting so big! I can't believe he is already almost 2! His latest thing is this old set of car keys.... he loves them! He takes them everywhere! He is also really into Cowboys and horses. For Christmas Nan and Pa gave him a little John Wayne figure with a horse. He likes to sleep with them at night..... or six of seven matchbox cars, depending on his mood. He is starting to talk a ton! He still has quite a few words that need some translations... for example "boo" is drink. Don't ask me how he came up with that... or how I figured out that is what it meant! He loves animals. We watched Babe last weekend and he was making animal sounds through the entire movie. He gets super excited when he sees an airplane and has to wave and yell "hi!" He continues to adore his big sister and mimics everything she does....good and bad! He loves to help fix things and has to be right in the middle of any project that is being worked on. Currently that has been a hard wood floor at Nan and Pa's house and tile at our house. Pa figured out quickly that when screws end up missing it's time to check Easton's pockets!
What a silly, sweet boy!
The other night we put Easton to sleep and he obviously didn't feel sleepy so for about a half hour we heard him in his room moving around and playing. Then we here, "un, to, free...." "Un, to, free...." Then, silence. We figured he must have been hiding so we went in to make sure everything was okay. We found everything from the crib in the middle of the room.... except for Easton and the pillow he was hiding under.... sound asleep!
Sadie's new favorite video is Little Einsteins. I have never seen her so into a movie before. She would watch the show over, and over, and over again if we would let her. It is so funny to be in the other room and hear her talking and moving so involved in the cartoon. She is as funny as ever and is constantly making us laugh!
