AnTeLoPe IsLaNd

The last weekend in May we headed to Antelope Island for a quick overnighter with our friends, the Evans... and their family. We all had a lot of fun, especially the kids. They loved the pea gravel that was around the campgrounds and it was definately a LOT cleaner than sand!

While we were preparing meals Andy took the kids on a few walks. They were all very excited to discover little bugs along the way!

Jake's Mom and Dad did a great job of entertaining the kids around the campfire. They were playing games, singing songs, and by the end of the night ALL the kids were on their laps! The giant dog is Jake's brother's.... Easton thought it was pretty histarical to ride him. Unfortunately when we got home Sadie wanted to ride Maly.... so we had to politely tell her Maly was too small... and well, your to big.

The kids had really been wanting to play in the water, but Andy and I were less than excited to make the long trek to the DISGUSTING lake... so instead we did it redneck style.....
shower head on the back of the trailer..... converted to a sprinkler!
The kids thought it was great... they were all sopping wet by the time they were done....
Redneck was definately the way to go this time!

Thanks Evan's Family for a fun trip!
