Sadie felt this way about All the rides......
Easton on the other hand felt this way about the rides.....
Until after he ate his magical P,B& J and took NO nap... then magically he loved all the rides, well, most of them! Go figure?!
Sadie was so excited when she got to ride with a stranger.... don't most people go to lagoon in pairs, just so they don't have to sit alone? Sadie would come off the ride so excited.... "Guess
what, Mom, I made a new friend!"
The kids favorite ride was the bumper cars! The first time they went we gave Sadie instructions to ride with Easton and let him drive so he wouldn't be afraid. She was such a good big sister! I was so proud of her. She just sat there with her arm around him letting him drive, until he needed her help.
Easton's favorite rides consisted of anything with a steering wheel or gun!
One ride that wasn't a hit was the Tower of Terror.... Andy and I thought it was so corny that the kids wouldn't mind.... Once we got in we remembered that it is totally dark.... and possibly scary to a two and four year old... especially after we saw the below picture of Easton.....
You'll notice Andy posing for the picture, sheer terror on Easton's face, and me trying to distract Sadie with her glowing car bear from the black lights....
The first time Andy and Peter took Sadie on this Dragon ride she didn't like it at all... but, then when Jake and her "new friend" wanted to go on it she tried it again. If you look closely in the pic below you can see she tried to keep her hands up the entire ride and never quit smiling! This ended up being her favorite ride of the day!
After we had worn the kids out the big kids decided to add a little adventure in their lives and all the adults.... except Mommies to be and Gigi did the Sky Coaster or the Catapult.
Andy and Michelle did the Sky Coaster together and they both loved it!
It was a wonderful Day! Thanks Gigi and Grandpa~
