December 2nd was Nan's last Chemo day, or rather her last BAD chemo day. She has to keep going for quite a while for one of her treatments but it doesn't have the nasty side effects the others have. So.... we celebrated! The kids and I went and got decorations and got the house all decorated to suprize Nan when she got home. The kids had a blast decorating. Easton just kept singing, "happy birfday to me......" Sadie was happy Nan doesn't have to have her "sick medicine" anymore.
Grandma also took us all out to Applebees to celebrate!
It was a nice night, and we are SO proud of our NAN. She has been a real trooper through all of this and has set a wonderful example for all of us.
As a side note.... I do have to admit that I have loved having Nan home during the days. I wish it wasn't due to the reason it was.... but, the kids and I are enjoying having her home while she is!
