Now that Easton is talking up a storm, we hear twice as many funny things around our house. The tricky part is remembering to write them all down.
Easton has just discovered that he has Super Powers. He puts his arms both straight out with his palms open and makes a "shshshshs" sound. When we asked him what he his super powers threw he said, "Potatoes." We haven't quite decided whether it's mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, or raw potatoes, but either way we thought it was a pretty ingenious super power!
As many of you know, Sadie loves to perform. She puts on at least five shows for me a day and so of course she has now converted her brother. So Sadie gets up and sings, dances, whatever she may be doing, curtsy's and then sits down. Easton gets up throws himself around the floor and then stands and while bowing he says, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
When we finish reading books we always add "The End." Easton is slightly confused however. When he reads books he says "Amen" when he gets to the end.
Yesterday, Easton was eating an apple and he suddenly decided to throw it across the room. When I asked him what he was doing he told me he was playing "baketball." When I explained that you don't play basketball with an apple he stood there for a minute and then replied, "Me playin' apple ball." Hmmmm….. How do you respond to that!
For Christmas Eve we are going for a Carriage ride of downtown SL. Sadie woke up first thing this morning and yelled from her room. "Guess what mom, Auntie M gets to go carriaging with us!" I suppose that could be similar to caroling… only in a carriage…. I suppose we will find out tonight!
