If you haven't heard me say it before.... THE SHRINER'S HOSPITAL is AmAzInG! We are SO blessed to be a part of it.
They have an organization called Unlimbited, for amputee's ages 5 and up. They get together and go rock climbing, skiing, etc. Last time I was there, I asked if they had a program for younger kids, they didn't..... but, apparently they had enough interest that they started one. It's called a Mommy and Me playdate. They are going to have them at the hospital every couple of months for kids ages 3 and under. Apparently there are 30 children in the SLC area, associated with Shriners, that fit this criteria. We also found out there are a couple of boys about Easton's age. They weren't able to make this playdate, it was a little short notice.... but hopefully we will see them next time.
The kids had a blast playing with all the toys and loved the treats they got. It was also really nice, because the physical therapists all played with the kids so that the Mom's could talk. It was really nice to get ideas and suggestions and hopefully give a few too.
We're looking forward to our next one!

Thatis a really neat play date. What a good experience for Easton. Excited to hear how the next play date goes with the boys around Easton's age. Love that little guy so much!
