Coincidence?

For those of you who know Andy and I well, know that the last 8 months have been quite an adventure. In November Andy and I decided it was time to make a career change. After trying his hand at a few different jobs, that blessed our lives in MANY ways, we decided he still hadn't found the right fit for him and for our family. So after MUCH prayer and consideration we started where we always start.... a LIST!

On the list we included quite a few different jobs ranging from Engineering to Landscaping. We had our list pretty much complete but decided to wait a day or two and search out a few more options. Over the next couple of days we were "reminded" of a profession known as Dental Lab technician, that Andy's cousin had mentioned a year or two earlier. So, not REALLY knowing anything about it we added it to the list. After a lot MORE praying, fasting, and a few trips to the temple, I think we were both a little surprised to find Dental tech as "the job for us."

As we have headed down the road to accomplishing this goal we feel that we have been BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE! Although, it has been a little trying at times, we have been incredibly blessed and we KNOW that it is because we are doing what the Lord wants us to do.

As we have looked back over the last couple of years the amount of "coincidences" seem to many to count.... but, just for our record, I want to point out a few of the "blessings" that have come to us throughout this journey.

-Mom and Dad G signed us up for Dave Ramsey classes.... we learned how to budget and SAVE!
-Years ago we signed up for a whole life insurance plan... then after we took Dave's classes, we we decided to go a different direction, so we canceled our plan. HOWEVER, we will continue to have our life insurance for a year and a half.... without paying ANY premiums.
-Lindsey taught me how to coupon... and after a few months, I actually figured it out.... and saved money.
-We followed the counsel of the prophet... and with the help of couponing.... got a "good start" on our food storage.
-We WERE SUPER excited when we reached our Dave Ramsey baby step of having 3-6 months saving in the Bank!
-We signed up for Aflac, to help with Tucker..... It did help.
-Easton's surgery.... Although, it wasn't pleasant, Easton is better and it helped us get a bigger tax return this year.
-We bought our Rhino.... loved our Rhino, used our Rhino A LOT, and sadly, sold our Rhino....but, appreciated the HUGE amount it has helped support our family.
-Found two adorable girls, to babysit, that fit into our family & our schedule perfectly.
-I had our Christmas shopping done last year in October.... (probably not going to be happening this year!)
-Found two great Dental Tech schools IN Utah.
-Chose Fine Arts Dental Lab..... who would later decide to open a new lab in Bountiful

Things are still a little UP in the air, but we couldn't be MORE excited for Andy to start his job in Bountiful. It will probably be a few more months, but we know things will work out.

I can testify that when you put the Lord first, and pay your tithing things you never thought possible, will become possible. If you would have asked me last year if we could live for 6 months on my little salary, I probably would have broken out into a cold sweat thinking about it, but SOMEHOW when God is involved all those little "coincidences" just seem to work out.
