Big, Big Boy!

I am VERY pleased to announce that Easton is officially potty trained..... actually he has been for a couple of months now, (if you haven't noticed I'm a bit behind on my blogging.)

I guess I just needed to wait until he was ready, because once he decided it was time.... it was really pretty smooth sailing. He hasn't had an accident....in.... hmm.... I can't remember when..... hope I didn't just jinx it.

He wanted his own tool belt to help Daddy fix things, so we had one sitting out and talked about it as much as possible for probably a month. He was SO excited when he finally earned it, after no accidents for a week!

I have to laugh becuase one of the ways that I finally got him excited to potty in the toilet was with the new kind of FeBreeze airfreshener's.... the kind with the trigger. Every time he pottied he got to spray it.... he thought it was great!

He was so excited to help Daddy work on the fence.

Easton is SUCH a sweet boy. He says the cutest things. I wish I could remember everything he says, because he makes me laugh every single day!

He says..... "acshuley, Momma......" aka "actually, Momma....." all the time and it is so cute to hear.

He and Sadie have been doing this thing lately that brings me pure joy.... he says, "member Yadie, best friends forever?"

He went to his first Rodeo a couple of weekends ago, and so I was explaining to him that there were going to be cowboys and they were going to ride bulls...... He said, "it a three-point? They gonna shoot 'em?" It took me a minute to figure out he thought I was talking about Bull, Elk. He still liked the rodeo....even though there weren't any elk.

He loves EVERYTHING boy. He is a super tough little stinker. Andy plays so rough with him, and he LOVES every minute of it. He loves swords and guns, and can turn ANYTHING into one or the other.

He gets very serious about spotting deer and elk and makes sure sadie is quiet. "Yadie, quiet! You gonna scare the elk!"

He has a bad habit of talking about "dieing things" aka "killing things" I'm hoping its a boy thing, that he will grow out of.

He is also SUPER smart... (I may be slightly biased) a couple of months ago Sadie had a field trip at the police station and the police officers told the kids they needed to memorize their phone numbers. So in the car I asked Sadie what her phone number was. Before she had a chance to respond Easton rattled it off.... right! He knew his phone number and I didn't even know it!

He is starting to recognize that he is different from other kids, but he is very proud of it. He is always excited to show people his "yool tools" aka "cool tools." The other day he was teasing Sadie... like he LOVES to do, and I overheard this conversation. "Yadie, you can't come through." "you can only come through if your in preschool." Sadie... "I already am in preschool." Easton: "you can't come through unless you have a cut-off leg." Sadie (pretending to have a cut-off leg) "know can I come through?"

Easton... we LOVE YOU!
