The kids did pretty good in the car.... Sadie started asking if we were getting close before we even hit Provo, but overall things went pretty well.
I must admit it isn't my favorite drive, but we did see a few pretty sights along the way.
Once we got to town and got the trailer all set up we headed to the college to get registered. Just after we pulled out of the parking lot the truck died. The gage showed a 1/4 tank, but appartenly it was wrong..... luckily it was a nice shady, grassy area, so the kids and I had a treat, played with the sticker books Gigi gave them and applied their new Summer Games tatoos. Meanwhile, Daddy went on a brisk walk to find the nearest gas station. Daddy came to the rescue, very quickly I might add, with some fuel. It took a little time, and prayer to get the truck up and running, but after that things went very smoothly. It was actually a great opportunity to teach the kids about prayer. (update: A couple of days ago while Andy was on a walk with the kids and the "girls" he asked them what they would do if they got lost or needed help? He said one of them said, "use a map." Another said, "ask someone for help." Sadie said, "say a prayer." While all of those are great answers I'm glad that Sadie remembered where to turn for help.)
We all enjoyed the trailer.... Tucker had his own bed... but, I think he liked Mommy and Daddy's better.
