The Sunflower....

We planted a couple giant sunflowers... unfortunately after the late freeze and winds only one survived. We thoroughly enjoyed it though, and are looking forward to planting more next year. We boiled and baked the seeds and seasoned them with some mesquite seasoning salts.... they turned out to be quite yummy!
