Random...

I'm really not sure where this boy puts ALL his food.... he is SO skinny.

Love these blue eyes.... this is one of the last shots we have of Easton before he got his GLASSES!

We have always been a little concerned about Easton's speach. He was a little bit of a late talker, and eventhough he talks up a storm now, he has a few pronounciation problems... so I decided to have him evaluated through the School District. We took him in and he had a blast doing all his testing. They tested his motor skills, his social skills, his ability to follow directioins, his speach, hearing, and vision. When he was done they took me aside to go over the results. They said he has what is called a lateral lisp which is totally normal for kids his age. They said he would out grow it and it wouldn't be a concern at all.

Sweet... I was all but standing and ready to leave when I heard a BUT..... he couldn't pass his vision screening. I was completely shocked. They said they tried three times and Easton was never able to come even close to passing his vision screening with his left eye. So we made an appointement with an AWESOME pediatric eye doctor at Sugarhouse vision. Turns out Easton has even worse vision than we thought.

He is far sighted in his left eye, his perscription is a 5! I was shocked as I watched the number getting bigger and bigger. On one of the tests she did Easton couldn't tell the difference between a square and a circle just a little farther than arms length... the size of a golf ball. I felt terrible. I asked if I had missed signs, but she said if he's always seen that way, it was normal to him. Luckily we caught it and now he gets to wear SUPER cute glasses which he LOVES! Pictures to come......

Two years ago and was awarded the Most Improved Rider of the year award from the Wasatch Trials Association... however, for one reason or another he never actually got to keep the plaque.... so we snagged a picture of it before the next person took it over for the year... Proud of you Babe!

Sadie has become quite the little dancer. She loves dance lessons and especially loves getting all "pretty" for her recitals. It has been fun to see her practicing her dance for her recital. She actually knows the entire dance. Super Smart Girl!
