The Big 3-0!

This year Andy turned the Big thirty. Honestly, I think it was harder for me than it was for him.... I'm not looking forward to my turn! Since it was an extra special birthday I wanted to do something a little extra. So the kids and I stayed up late and decorated the basement with streamers and balloons.... it wasn't pretty.... but, its the thought that counts. Then we let him open up his presents. I gave him thirty planned and prepared date nights. Then, since it was Stake Relief Society meeting him and the kids played together until I came home. Then we were off, so surprise Daddy with a party!

We had invited all the family to meet us at Classic Skating in Layton. We had a TON of fun and were so glad so many of our loved ones were able to make it. I wish I would have been able to catch a picture of everyone! We sang happy birthday, embarrassed the birthday boy, and had ice cream sandwiches. It was a "Celebrate the '80s" party so the signs were florescent, I figured that the location fit with the theme pretty well. There was lots of things to do besides skating.....

We had fun playing arcade games, foosball, mini bowling, laser tag, pirate's cove, and jump games. Sadie did great with her roller blades! Easton took his skooter and had fun with it for a minute.... but, honestly he was a little grouchy. He did have fun playing arcade games, though! Tucker enjoyed being held and was totally fascinated with all the lights!

Afterwards Nan & Pa took us to dinner. It was a wonderful day!

WE LOVE YOU DADDY!
