The Nativity

This year in the kids twelve days of Christmas they have gotten the entire Little People Nativity set. The kids have had so much fun with it. I didn't get a picture of Sadie playing with it, but I overheard the cutest conversation she was having with the dolls.
Sadie being the characters:
Mary to Joseph: "Should we leave the baby in the hay?"
Joseph to Mary: "Yes."
Mary to Joseph: "But, if we do that he will think we don't love him."

We have a binder that Andy's Mom put together for us with the nativity scriptures, songs, and pictures. Sadie has had so much fun looking at the book and then finding the characters in the Nativity set and then acting it out. I think it has been really good to help get her get an understanding of what Christmas is really about. Thanks Auntie M and Gigi for the fun props!
