So that this......
Can eat them....
We got a call from Uncle Brad last week when he was on his way home from hunting with Pa. He said he had a special suprize to bring home for the kids....
Pa caught the kids this horned lizard at the top of Rocky Ridge at East Canyon.... he thought the kids would like it.....
Said loved it! Uncle Brad brought it home in a water bottle, so we quickly made it a "habitat." Sadie was so excited to have her first "little Creature!" So... the name stuck and Creature is our new pet....
Easton on the other hand.....
Said, "Keture, eat me?" After we had a discussion about how "Keture" would not eat him he decided he wasn't too bad... but, he still prefers the crickets....
Once we got creature in his house I started my research as to how to keep him alive. It was then that I found out they used to be on the endangered species list.... So hopefully none of you are going to turn us in.....
We are doing our best to keep Creature alive, but having live crickets around the kitchen just may push Mommy over the edge!
By-the-way....
Thanks Pa for providing your grandchildren with their first pet.... they are no longer deprived children! ;)
