Mother's Day....

I had a great Mother's Day weekend! On Saturday we worked in the yard a little and then I got cleaned up to go to lunch at Olive Garden and then to a movie. Michelle had a little Girl's Day activity to celebrate her Birthday. It was nice to get out, the company was great and the food was DELICS! I feel bad, because I deleted the only pic I had of Michelle. I do have some footage of 4 very handsome men singing happy birthday to her.... she does blush....

Then on Sunday we got up and got ready for Church. Then Sadie let me open my Mother's Day present that she made for me at preschool. It was the beautiful necklace pictured below. She was so excited to give it to me and I couldn't have been happier. I even wore it to Church! It came in a very cute hand decorated gift bag... also pictured below. I am a little concerned about the size of my ears... but Andy assures me it isn't true to life! j/k.

At church Sadie got to sing with the Primary kids for the first time. When I told her she got to go on the stage and sing she was so excited! She just kept saying.. is it my turn yet... is it my turn yet. She was so proud as she walked up to the stage and parked herself, of course, in the very front! She sang the word she knew and the rest she just smiled through. It made me so proud to see her up there... she is getting so big!

She also made me another present at Primary... this cute picture frame....
Sadie: Mom, I even put clothes on the kids so they wouldn't be naked!

After Church we went to dinner at the Moosman's and then headed to the Gale's for dessert.... honestly we had dessert at both houses, but who's keeping track?

We are so lucky to have two great Mom's in our lives! I am so grateful for my Mother and all that she has sacrificed for me in my life. She is always there for me when I need her and I couldn't ask for a better Nan for my kids! Andy's Mom has also been a great example in my life. She did a great job raising Andy and has instilled a lot of great qualities in him, she has welcomed me into the family with open arms. I have never felt like an in-law!

Thanks Nan and Gigi for all you do! We love you!
