What a fun Thanksgiving we have had! It all started with the Big Gale family Turkey shoot and dinner, then we got to go to Sadie's Thanksgiving feast at Preschool. Everybody brought finger foods to share, the kids played some Thanksgiving games, and they showed off all the fun things they have been making! This is Sadie's Indian costume. She had the entire Indian thing going on... including an Indian name. The fun part is that Sadie actually has an Indian name. For those of you who don't know... Andy was adopted into the Crow Indian tribe when he was (I think) twelve. His Dad served a mission on the Crow Reservation in Montana and one of his good friends adopted Andy. So.... through Andy, Sadie is part Crow. She is as Indian as a freckle faced-red head little girl can be. Grandpa Takes Enemy had a dream that told him what Sadie's name would be. I think it is perfect! In English it is Pretty Butterfly. Sadie however, thought Dancing Butterfly was more appropriate.....
This is Sadie's pilgrim hat.
Easton trying out the Indian look....On Thanksgiving day we spent the day with the Gale family. It was a really nice relaxing day and it was great to be together as a family! Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving Too!
